Over at swtor.com they have provided a new Insider. It talks about the updates that is coming in 2.1 Customization. The 2.1 update includes the ability customize the look of your character after you have created it from the simple changing hair colour, eyes, build and even to race.
Update 2.1 also includes the species Cathar, and the customisation will allow you to change to that species. This offers some insight into the new species and changes coming in 2.1. No release date has been provided nor as there been word about this on the PTS.

I've been looking around online for the best SWTOR strategy guide site and have seen a number of them. A lot of them say they are great, but I thought I would dig a little deeper to find out which one really helps. I found two that I really liked. The best SWTOR guide I found was SWTORBase. It has some great video guides that really helped me get through some difficult parts of the game. The other one I tried was SWTOR Saviour. It also has some decent video guides that helped. As for SWTOR credit guides I found SWTOR Credit Savior to be the most helpful. If you really want to get good at SWTOR you need to check out these guide. They are well worth the time.

I'm a veteran from Wookieepedia, and also a big fan of SWTOR. Browsing this wiki, I noticed an error in titles of the Sith Order.
I believe the title "Sith Lord" is being confused with the title "Dark Lord of the Sith".
A Sith Lord is not addressed as Darth, but simply "Lord". An example would be Lord Zash, who later advances in power and authority.
Zash's elevation to Darth is a clear example of my appeal. A Darth (Darth Baras, Darth Vader) is not a Sith Lord, but a Dark Lord of the Sith, who is, as previously stated, higher in authority and power than a Sith Lord.
The sole reason I created this blog post: many Dark Lords of the Sith are incorrectly identified as Sith Lords in articles.

Does anybody know why a Level 23 Bounty Hunter / Mercenary / Arsenal ( who is pretty well equipped & well qualified ) would be having such a hard time beating a Level 15 mission ? I believe the mission is called " Friends of Old " on Dromund Kaas . I get to the boss , & the boss ( who is around level 16 I think ) kicks my ass . WTF ? !

Now that the Return of the Gree is live, players will be looking for updated information related to this update, especially the Relics of the Gree World Event and the Galactic Reputation system. Unfortunately, most of this content is targeted toward higher level characters. I don't have an active high level character. So, consider this a call for assistance to those with characters of the appropriate level to assist where possible. The most useful information will be details on the event, missions and items. Since the World Event will only last for couple of weeks, that is certainly a priority for information gathering.

Hello,
After I had reached level 15 on my free account my account was locked until I registrate a email address. So I filled in my email account and swtor.com said that they have sent an email to my address. But sadly I never received any. So I filled in my email address several times but I never received any email that I need to verify in able to play further on my free account. Anyone know what to do or how to solve this?

It appears that along with the last update patch, came news of a new World Event, 1.7 Return of the Gree, that we'll see with the next minor release. In case you aren't aware, you might want to go check it out. The main thing you probably want to be aware of is that you'll really want to have a level 50 character ready for this event. Its focused on Ilum and of course the ancient Gree.
Unfortunately, for those like me, spending most my time under the cap it doesn't sound like it will provide as much significance. I have a level 48 I might push up to 50, but mostly I've moved on to another character.

State of the Game #2 has been posted on the SWTOR official news page. It basically gives an update on current state, future state, and some hot topics. My rundown, from a purely pesonal standpoint:
In the hear and now, mentions some additional growing around the way Free 2 Play works. So still tweaking.
For the near future there is love for the PvP-ers (not me, yet). Mentions the digital expansion coming (I pre-ordered).

I am a level 11 Jedi Sentinel, and currently duel wield. My secondary lightsaber is the one you get when you become a Sentinel, and it has a 57% accuracy stat, and I have died multiple times because my attacks won't hit. I am using the Shii-Cho form, and cannot train another form for a couple levels. Also, I am a Free-play Player, what should I do? Is there a good mod for my saber that I can get? Issues I see here: Characeter Creation is Ok.Chat & General Stuff Character slots Per server. We need at LEAST 4Only one General chat message a MINUTE!? How about every 30 Seconds? So, the f2p option is coming soon, and as time passed, Bioware released the f2p features on this page: http://www.swtor.com/free/features . It's not much but it will be at least enjoyable. All players can play through the whole story, though most other things are limited, such as limited flashpoint rewards, space missions (I'm really pissed here for only 3 a week), crew skills and so on. I still do not like cartel coins being a pass for non-paying users, since they also can be paid. I smell a lot of greed here. I hope at least they can apply more full pass 'till july. ;)

YO!!!!! Another happy monday. I spent the morning being attacked by a darkskinned man. What a bummmer. I've been on an intramuscular anti-psychotic injection for a little while. Today I went into the mental health building and got my shot. I'm trying to get my dasage lowered, I'm on the highest dose right now. I think the most interesting part about america is Las Vegas Nevada. It seems like I could go there with money and have a really good time. I am however discouraged by the lack of supprt for the homeless there, if people aren't willing to work why don't we just kick them out? One day I'd really like to write novels. So apparently there will be a new world event coming very shortly. Apparently fan sites were notified in advance of the upcoming event and were given a teaser video. That video is circulating on YouTube, so you can just search for "Chevin Teaser" and you should find it before long. On a different, but yet related note. (maybe) There will be no downtime required for the Tuesday maintenance this week. That could be an indication that the event will start tomorrow, but for all we know it might have already done so. Well some expected it, some didn't, some are super exited, some don't give a damn, but TOR is going F2P. From what they have released so far it seems that they will be going the LotRO model where you can choose between a subscription or free to play, where F2P limits your access to a certain level while Subscription gives you full access plus bonuses. You will be able to purchase the content if you are F2P however. BioWare is introducing the Cartel Market, which is their version of the real money shops from other games. The curency is Cartel Coins which will be available for purchase as well as received by Subscribers every month. Furthermore BioWare is offering rewards to current, former and new subscribers of TOR. What is it that makes a companion? Is it their similarities with characters from the films? Is it the attitudes they bring to the table; the possibility for undying loyalty or bitter hatred?
The characters that join us on our quests, our protagonist's lover, his best friend or the welcomed outcast have always been what interested me the most in a Bioware game, but in SWTOR it's taken to the next level with the amount of supporting characters their are.
40 (ship droids not included) companions made the cut, becoming our allies and traveling with us across the galaxy; but what about the future? Luke didn't always travel with Han and Leia, there was Mara Jade, Lando Calrissian, hell even Lumiya traveled with Luke at one time.

As you may have noticed some of the colors on the wiki as well as few mainpage elements have changed. The reason for that is quite simply we are changing up the homepage and the theme of the wiki to make it look better. We are making the homepage more modular, kind of how the Dragon Age wiki is. The thing is I'm currently the only active admin on the wiki as far as I can tell since Scimatt and Drudenfusz haven't been on here for a very long time, and honestly I don't think they've been on any wiki either. So about Datacron Guides. I've seen that the links on the Datacron Locations page change every month or so. So I was wondering instead of relying on other people's videos we make our own. I have been looking at the System Requirements for TOR and under the subheading "Processor" it says:
- AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4000+ or better
- Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz or better
My PC's Processer is an AMD Athlon II X4 630 Processor 2.80GHz and my Dad tells me that computer processors are very ard to compare. Does anyone know if this my processor is good enough for TOR?

If I were to play SWTOR I would definitely choose to be a Sith Inquisitor but the problem is both of the advanced classes (Assassin and Sorcerer) are epic and I dont know what one to choose. I like the way Assassins can turn invisible and that they have a double bladed but the Sorcerer have loads of cool powers and they have a long range.I don't know which on to choose. Can you help me.

First of all, a great game. I wanted to play even if I had Mass Effect 3 about the same time. It is graphically much more inferior, but the story with my Imperial Agent is about the same quality as that of Mass Effect. The multiplayer gaming is also funnier than in other MMORPG in that you get multiplayer cutscenes.
However, I feel that SWOR is, for the moment, a game made by the rich, for the rich. It is graphically not better than Shaiya or DDO, WoW or any great MMORPG that are free. It is however much more heavier in processor power. While Mass Effect 3 runs smoothly, I need 10 minutes to log on SWOR.
