Legion of Myth has been around since June 2003. We have been involved in such games as Star Wars: Galaxies, World of Warcraft, EverQuest 2, City of Heroes/Villains, and Warhammer Online. In June 2008 we reorganized our overall structure into something more than just a gaming guild. We are a small, but growing, community of gamers that wish to discuss our favorite hobby - games of all types.
ZERO ZERO ZERO - (ZERO³)Edit
Zero³ is Legion of Myth's guild in Star Wars: The Old Republic.
- Zero³ serves the Galactic Republic.
- We will endeavor to play on a Player versus Player Role-Playing (PvP/RP) server. Although not hardcore in-game role-players, we do role-play, and prefer the overall role-play community as well as the traditional naming requirements and rules of decorum.
- Zero³ will actively take part in both Player-vs-Player (PvP) and Player-vs-Environment (PvE) combat - as determined by game content.
- We are a role-playing guild, a casual-friendly guild, and an achievement-oriented guild. (Read more about this in the Zero³ Expectations link below.
- All member are to have and use Ventrilo - with a fully functioning microphone.
- We desire folks who seek to be part of a team by joining in all facets of the game - guild groups, raids, and events.
Some additional tid-bits:
- Legion of Myth, the parent organization of Zero³, started off as a guild that first and foremost wants to stay true to the developer/publisher canon and lore of a game. We have kept those roots, while incorporating a desire to succeed and achieve (through raiding and PvP), with a casual-friendly understanding that real life comes first. In fact, when we created Legion of Myth, part of the humor in the name was that it is a “Myth” that one can be both a role-player and an achiever in a given game.
- For PvP we are looking to be capable skirmishers. We’d sooner form two or three smaller hunting groups than form one large warband. We aim to surprise, flank, or ambush our opponents and habitually take out groups larger than us. In typical MMO terms, these are called ‘gank groups,’ but the word ‘gank’ leaves a bad image in peoples’ minds. The point is that we’ll leave the large ‘zerg’ hunting bands to other guilds. To this end, two very capable skirmishers, with experience in other PvP games (Shadowbane, Warhammer, Age of Conan, and Darkfall) have been brought in to provide leadership in this area.
- We will always encourage role-playing, it is the foundation of who we are; however, we will not let that get in the way of high-end PvE (raids) or PvP combat. We aim to achieve and excel as well.

- We do not promote members to officers because we like them, in order to make them happy, because they are real life freinds, or for any other reason that doesn't come with extra responsibility to the guild and its membership.
