The new Appearance Designer by AestheTech has been added to Dromund Kaas, Coruscant, and the Republic and Imperial Fleets. This kiosk will allow players to modify any feature of their physical appearance, except gender, including taking on a whole new Species. Players can also use the kiosk to access and unlock brand new character customization options. Subscribers get a substantial discount on all Appearance Designer changes.
Dye Modules are now available via Artifice Crafting, some vendors, and the Cartel Market. They function similar to other item modifications. More details under Items and Economy.
Collections provides a one–stop interface which is accessible from the Inventory Window or Cartel Market and tracks many items available from the Cartel Market, Packs (Cartel and Contraband alike), Cartel Reputation, and even Friends of Star Wars™: The Old Republic™, Pre–order, Collectors Edition, live fan events and more. New Species: Players of any Faction, Class, or gender can now play as the Cathar Species! Cathar can be purchased via the Cartel Market or directly through the Appearance Designer Kiosk on the Republic and Imperial Fleets and Capital Worlds.

Addressed an issue that prevented players from reconnecting to an area for a short period of time after being disconnected from a Flashpoint or Operation. This issue could prevent players from logging into the game after transferring their character.
Any players required to change a character's name due to Customer Support request must now make all name changes before logging in with any characters on a server.
Level 50 PvP missions now grant 100 Warzone Commendations for daily missions and 300 Warzone Commendations for weekly missions.
Warzones now end early if team populations become too imbalanced.
Players can no longer assign keybindings to toggle off music (ctrl+M) and ambient sounds (ctrl+A) . These can still be adjusted using the sliders in the Preferences Window and all sound can still be toggled using ctrl+S.
Players can now purchase both Cargo Hold expansions back-to-back if eligible to do so.
Mini-pets can no longer be summoned inside Warzones.
Characters that exit the protected spawn area before the match begins are now killed.

An issue that caused some mission items (such as Matrix Cubes) to disappear from player inventories has been corrected. Players that were affected by this issue will find their Matrix Cubes restored. The restored Matrix Cubes can be re-equipped from the Mission Inventory (Press "I" and then select the "Mission Items" tab at the bottom of the window).
More Custom (orange) moddable items that have no modifications installed can now be reverse engineered. This does not include some crafted Custom items and social gear.
All characters in a Legacy now appear in the Family Tree, even if the character has not logged in since patch 1.2.
Daily Warzone missions now require the completion of 6 Warzone matches. Losing a match counts as 1 completion towards this goal, while winning a match counts as 2 completions.
In the GTN UI the default value for the Rarity field is now Standard instead of Any. This allows players to search for most items without requiring that they select an option in the Rarity field.
Chests in Hard Mode Explosive Conflict no longer drop Black Hole gear.
The cost for Rated War Hero PvP gear has been reduced. This does not impact the time required to obtain base War Hero gear.
