~ Star Wars: The Old Republic, Sith Warrior opening crawl

A Sith Warrior's skills with a lightsaber are unrivaled. Driving at their enemies with strong, crushing blows, the Warrior quickly beats his foes into submission or death. Protected by heavy armor and his powers of intimidation, the Warrior wades into the thick of the fight and unleashes pure hatred and fury to eliminate all who would stand against him.

Though the lightsaber is the Warrior's primary method of attack, he also uses his dark command of the Force to paralyze, terrify, and kill:

  • The Warrior's command of the Force is ruthlessly geared towards attacks that inflict pain and suffering. Choking a victim is not only an effective way to defeat him, but also an effective way of getting him to see one's point of view. Against weak and unworthy targets, the Warrior's Force Choke can kill in an instant.
  • Channeling his fury, the Warrior can release an explosion of dark energy, stunning nearby enemies, allowing a quick follow up to finish them with unstoppable strikes from his lightsaber.
  • There is perhaps nothing so terrifying as having a Sith Warrior hurtling through the air toward you with his lightsaber smashing down. Such a forceful attack immediately puts adversaries on the defensive, and sometimes ends the fight outright.

Character Creation Quotes:

"Defy me, and it will end badly..."

"I will bring the Republic to its knees."

"Time to rage!"

"Looks like it's time for a blood bath."

"Now you'll see what a Sith is capable of..."

Specialization[]

At character creation Sith Warriors have to choose the path of the Marauder or the Juggernaut. This choice cannot be changed after selected.

Marauder Juggernaut
  • Dual Sabers
  • Saber Focused Combatant
  • Melee DPS

Wielding two sabers and unmatched aggression, Sith trained as Marauders slice through enemy ranks, dealing death with merciless efficiency. Able to intuit precisely how to attack in order to maximize every strike, their adversaries become victims in the blink of an eye. Whether annihilating a squad of Republic troops or cutting down a single Jedi, the Marauder sees and exploits every weakness to exact the greatest toll. Never hesitating, never faltering, there is no swifter bringer of pain and damage in the galaxy.

  • Single Saber
  • Heavy Armor / Force
  • Tank or Melee DPS

Sith who train in the stalwart arts of the Juggernaut boast unrivaled stamina in battle. Through diligence and clarity, the Juggernaut shapes the Force to his will to become nearly invulnerable. Damage that would destroy others is shrugged off, and futility fills the Juggernaut's foes with doubt and despair. Protecting their allies and punishing their adversaries, they charge into the thick of any fray, and take the brunt of the assault and are even able to drain the energy of their enemies to further strengthen their resolve.

History[]

Champion of the Dark Side[]

An unstoppable force of darkness, the Sith Warrior is entrusted with the task of destroying the Empire's enemies and enforcing Sith domination across the galaxy. The Warrior channels the destructive emotions of fear, anger, and hatred to purge weakness from body and mind and become a being of pure, brutal efficiency.

Destined to eradicate the incompetent chaos created by the Jedi, the Sith seek to rule the galaxy through power and intimidation. The armies of the Sith Empire are trained to accomplish this task, but they require the leadership of bold Sith Warriors—loyal and mighty overlords—who will drive them to conquest and victory.

These cold-blooded conquerors waste no time with cunning manipulations and carefully-crafted plans. Sith Warriors crush their opponents and stride toward their goals with dreadful determination, leaving ruin and annihilation in their wake. Emanating awe and terror at every step, they accept nothing but absolute obedience from their followers. In turn, Sith Warriors can serve as loyal subjects to their own dark masters, often surprising enemies and allies with their rigorous honor and perfect discipline.

Whether they align their ambitions with those of the Dark Council or become renegades in pursuit of their own goals, they are never far from the action. Their fierce hatred of the Jedi keeps Sith Warriors at the forefront of any conflict with the Republic. The passion to eradicate the Jedi Order fuels many of their actions, but that does not make them single-minded fools.

Ultimately, the destiny of any Sith Warrior is his own to choose... and woe to those who would stand in his way.

Inspiration for the Sith Warrior: Darth Vader, Dart Agnan, Darth Malgus, Darth Hayoor.

Working with Others[]

A natural leader in any context, a Sith Warrior inspires both fear and undying loyalty into his followers and allies. Though they rarely exercise patience for incompetence or indecisiveness, Warriors have realized the importance of strength in numbers in their war with the Jedi, and have learned to accept and sometimes even encourage their comrades, whether they are like-minded Sith, ruthless Bounty Hunters, or others who embrace the darkness.

Field Recon[]

The Sith Warrior is a Sith Empire Action Point based class focusing on close combat. Still images of Sith Warriors capture their passion and vigor in war. Bold lightsaber tactics and surprising bursts of Force power force their foes to stay on the defensive until they are weakened and summarily destroyed. Though their saber tactics are always aggressive, some Sith Warriors choose to dual-wield or adopt other non-traditional fighting styles to accentuate their combat prowess.

Outfitting[]

Despite their reliance on their strength in the Force, Warriors have no compunction about donning heavy and intimidating suits and armors. Unthreatened by the use of technology for biological augmentation, Warriors' vestments often make use of dangerous and experimental components which imbue the wearer with immense strength and fortitude.

Story[1][]

Prologue: Path of Destruction[]

As peace crumbles between the Empire and Republic, mighty new Sith are needed to lead the charge in the coming war. One such Force-sensitive is fated to rise rapidly to power and become one of the most powerful Sith in the galaxy. Under the instruction of Overseer Tremel, this privileged acolyte begins an accelerated training regimen in the Sith Academy of Korriban. The acolyte conquers the Sith trials, dominates the other students, and displays unrivaled strength in battle to become the cunning Sith Lord Darth Baras’s apprentice and the Empire’s newest, most promising Sith Warrior.

Chapter One: Hunt for the Padawan[]

The Sith warrior bows to Darth Baras, a cunning and cruel Sith spymaster whose vast network of agents has infiltrated every level of the Republic. When an unknown force begins exposing Baras's agents, he directs his Sith apprentice to root out and destroy this menace to his spy network. Together, Master and apprentice discover the threat: a young Padawan with the ability to discern the true nature of any being. Guided by Jedi Master Nomen Karr, an old rival of Darth Baras, this Padawan uses the Force to sense the embedded spies and single-handedly tears down decades of Baras’s work.

At Baras's direction, the Sith warrior hunts across the galaxy in pursuit of Nomen Karr and his clairvoyant Padawan. When the Sith warrior finally discovers the identity of the Padawan – a former Alderaanian handmaiden named Jaesa Willsaam – Darth Baras orchestrates a plan to utterly destroy Nomen Karr and lure Jaesa out of hiding. The Sith warrior ultimately strikes down Nomen Karr and holds the Jedi Master captive to draw Jaesa from her seclusion. Jaesa fights valiantly to save her Master, but the Sith's strength in the dark side overpowers the fledgling Padawan. The Sith warrior then breaks Jaesa and takes her as an apprentice, saving Darth Baras's spy network and dealing the final devastating blow to the Jedi Master Nomen Karr.

Chapter Two: Plan Zero[]

With his spy network saved, Darth Baras rewards his apprentice with the rank of Sith Lord, and bids the warrior to carry out Plan Zero. This new task is key to Darth Baras's master strategy designed to decapitate the upper echelon of the Republic’s military leadership and goad the Republic into war.

Acting on intelligence from Darth Baras's spy network, the Sith warrior wages a devastating campaign to hunt down and destroy the Republic's top military leaders. The warrior completes Plan Zero and pushes the Republic to the brink of war – just as Darth Baras's Master, the powerful Dark Council member Darth Vengean, desires. But when Darth Baras secretly betrays his Master and leads Vengean's flagship into a Republic ambush, Vengean loses face in the Empire. On Darth Baras's bidding, the warrior defeats Darth Vengean in a ferocious duel in the Citadel of Dromund Kaas. When Vengean falls, Darth Baras claims his former Master's Dark Council seat and the galaxy erupts once more into open warfare.

Chapter Three: Revenge of the Wrath[]

Fearful of his apprentice's growing power, Darth Baras enacts a plot to kill the mighty Sith warrior. A subterranean cave-in nearly crushes the Sith, until the wounded Sith Lord is saved from the rubble by a secretive and mysterious group known as the Emperor's Hand. They anoint the Sith warrior as the Emperor's personal executioner – the Emperor's Wrath. The Hand then reveals that Darth Baras intends to usurp the Emperor's power, an act of treason only made possible because the absent Emperor is preparing for a greater calling. Baras plots to rule by falsely claiming to speak the Emperor's will.

Fueled by revenge and guided by the Emperor's Hand, the Sith warrior sets out to destroy Darth Baras before he seizes control of the Empire. The Emperor's Wrath joins forces with Darth Vowrawn, a charming member of the Dark Council, to weaken Baras and support the challenge against the Wrath's former Master. When all the pieces are in place, the Wrath prepares for the final crushing assault against Darth Baras.

The Emperor's Wrath ultimately marches into the Dark Council chambers to expose Darth Baras as a fraud and traitor who lies about speaking the Emperor's will. But to prove such a bold claim to the Dark Council, the Wrath battles Darth Baras in a fierce duel. The Wrath emerges triumphant, striking down the ruined and seething Darth Baras. With vengeance delivered and the Emperor's will satisfied, the Dark Council bows to the unquestionable might of the Emperor's Wrath.
