- It's the fault of the rich text editor. It adds ' ', and certain other markup statements, automatically. It does this sometimes repeatedly if a user utilizes the preview function. - There was one last year in February - TFWiki.net. But yeah, given the support so far I doubt there will be any votes against it. Don't worry, I do not upload anything that comes from leaking sources. All the pictures are from BioWare, some of them are screenshots from things in the videos they show but many don't see the details there (like the hoth hog in the music of the old republic video). The particular picture you asking about is from GamesCom (the German convention), it can be found on Darth Hater (who have much speculative things on their blog, but they also avoid leaked stuff). Gallery Format Edit
Some time ago we discussed how best to approach the usage of image galleries in light of the changes Wikia was making to the plugin. Now that they have moved on to implementing a new skin, it appears they have finished work on galleries.
I took the time to play with the gallery tools in an attempt to find some finalized format we would be able to utilize. The result can be found on our article for Alderaan; let me know what you think. If the community approves we should be able to construct a template containing the parameters for galleries, thereby ensuring a similar appearance throughout the project. -- Heaven's Agent 03:26, October 23, 2010 (UTC)

I have put the Gathering page up for a motion to move it to Gathering Skills . The SWTOR website released information today that the skill is known as Gathering Skills. Having Articles on Characters from Kotor 1 and 2 or Comics Edit

I would just wanted to let you know that it is okay to have articles of characters in the Kotor comics or characters mentioned/vaguely appear in kotor 1 and 2 that didn't effect Revan and the Jedi Exile greatly [which the exile and revan effected SW:tor greatly.]

Actually, if you hadn't brought it up I was planning to make this recommendation myself. We might also want to create a third portal, for KotOR2.
I wouldn't confine ourselves to mimicking the TOR portal; MMORPGs and RPGs are very different types of games, and we should allow the different portals to reflect this. Just a tip, if you use ***s and ****s on MediaWiki:Wiki-navigation rather than *s and **s, you can have more than the usual four amount. You probably already know this, but it might be worth adding a "Guild" tab, a "Characters" tab, maybe a "Knights of the Old Republic" series tab. Whatever works. Offensve Edit Edit
Hello,
While doing some ability stuff with the trooper, i noticed that someone from the ip address of 98.103.120.75 made a VERY offensive edit by changing Rifle Grenade to rape sex. I worked quickly to get the material off, but due to the fact that i didn't have rollback i couldn't put it back before it, becuase he made 2 edits. I ended up deleteing the offensive row in the ability table. If you could roll it back to the last good edit, it would be appreciated. Hello, Just wondering with the release of all the new info on advance class, where should the info on the shared tree go. The shared tree is avaible to both advanced class so i was thinking that i could be put on the Class page. Sith Empire reversion Edit
In reverting the Sith Empire page you reverted all the other edits other than the few links that were added. There was an extensive amount of grammar and wording changes to the article. If you wold have simply removed the links there woudl have been no issue. I reverted your change and removed the links to wookiepedia.

Your Vandal Edit
So it looks like he came here as well. He hit the Dragon Age wiki yesterday and hopefully with the global blocks, he won't come back, but we can't be certain of that. I'm not sure if you know what happened, but what he does is use Cyrillic characters to spoof my user name as the characters confuse Wikia's markup and make them appear normal. Needless to say this is a little frustrating, and I had hoped he had stopped, but alas not. I have come here a few times, as I'm looking forward to ToR myself, being the first MMO that I really plan to play so I hope that you undid all the damage and restored your wiki to its previous and unvandalized state. This was more of a response to your message on my talk page at the ME wiki, but I figured I should tell you what he was doing. Class Template Edit
Hello! I was thinking about an addition that could be made to the class template. There is text that is in aurebesh below each of the classes names on the current icons that we are using. I think that it would be cool if we transalated that and put it as a caption in the class template. However there is no caption space in the current infobox/template. Just a thought. Hi, i edited the bounty hunter page to say Chiss could be that class because on the Chiss page it clearly says that they can be Bounty Hunters. If this is not correct then the Bounty Hunter part should be removed on the Chiss page.

Hello, I am just wondering why you mentioned "Wookiepedia's policy" in TOR Wiki:Policy/Sourcing and added the category "Wookiepedia maintenance" to Pages needing citation. Last time I checked Wookiepedia and Swtor wiki are two distinct entities and therefore should not be sharing any policies. Links not displaying properly Edit
Not sure if anyone is worried about this right now but I noticed, while trying to make a minor edit for grammar purposes, that links won't display somethin different than what the page they link to is actually called. For example I tried to change one that displayed as "Classes" to "Class" while still maintaining the proper link and it doesn't let you. This obviously isn't a huge issue, as it doesn't really detract from the available information on the page, but I just thought I'd mention it. Thanks. Vebnstuff 21:23, August 24, 2011 (UTC)
When I right click a link it brings up the following display box:

This is where it won't let me change the "Text to display" It allows me to change it in this box but when I click "OK" it just resets it to "Classes". I've worked with links like this on another wikia but have never run into this issue before. I'll try it the way you showed me and once again this isn't anything wiki breaking but I just thought I'd let someone with a little more experience at this than me know about it. Thanks for the help. It is still happening but I've found an easy work around. If I delete the old word and associated link and reinsert the desired word and associated link it works as like it is supposed to. I'm not sure why sometimes it makes me completely redo the link whereas other times I can just edit the existing one but it isn't difficult by any means so no harm done. I was about to create a page for Jedi Code, parallel to the current page about the Sith Code. The site pointed out that a page had existed and was deleted in 2009. Hi Alex,
I see that you deleted an update to the 'Species' page which contained a table for playable race/class combinations. Admittedly, the table was clunky.
I have redone the table, and it is much cleaner and more presentable now. I believe that this table will be a great quick reference source for players as they decide what characters to create in the weeks and months before rollout.
Please feel free to improve the table in whatever way you think is best. If you believe that the table belongs elsewhere, I welcome any suggestion for an alternate location.

Should the game's wiki community get split between two projects, there's no reason any resulting rivalry couldn't be civil and respectful. Page "Jedi Covenant Guilds" needs to be changed to "Server:Jedi Covenant"
Hey, it would be nice to unify codex creation for SWTOR, with locations. I'm not much for templates, so i did a messy job with Tauntauns but I want to be able to input locations for the various codex entries, especially lore, bestiary, locations. What's the best, standard way to do it? And yes, that data is mine, not borrowed, just got it today.

Republic Capitol Ship? Edit
I added some information on the Republic Capitol Ship, but I would like to point out that when you mention [1] as the source for the redirection of the page (as explained on http://swtor.wikia.com/index.php?title=Republic_Capital_Ship&action=history), is an uncorrected typo, as there are no mentions anywhere on swtor.com about Capitol Ship(s), whereas Capital Ship is frequently used, and is accepted to be correct.

Hopefully I'm not the first to report this, but someone, or a group of someones, is going through the entire wiki and re-formating it with questionable, or done right objectionable, material. This includes replacing pictures, descriptions, and even whole pages of contet, so that it can't be read or used at all.

It is Nick who is cursing and losing his cool, you've remained relatively calm, and I thank you for it. - Dosadnik 1 invited me to admin https://www.facebook.com/pages/TOR-Wiki/329167733800752 . I had found an earlier Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/pages/Star-Wars-The-Old-Republic-Wiki/177029402321535, but not sure who set it up, thought it might have been you.
Facebook pages don't have their own user accounts. Instead, typically a Facebook user starts the page and then via the admin console can manage admin roles for the page and invite other admins.
If you have access to this other Facebook page and want to try giving me access, you should be able to see me in the list of recent 'likes'. From there you can find my Facebook user profile to assist in sending me the invite. This other Facebook page appears to have collected a few invites during its prime, as opposed to the one Dosadnik 1 invited me to, and which I'm using now. So might be better to use this other one and revitalize it. Anyway, any assistance you can give would be appreciated.
