It's nice to be back, sorry about the &nbsp thing, i didn't purposely do it, some editing accident, if you haven't done it already I'll go clear up the articles. Thanks.The Archemporer 23:06, September 13, 2010 (UTC)

It's the fault of the rich text editor. It adds '&nbsp', and certain other markup statements, automatically. It does this sometimes repeatedly if a user utilizes the preview function. I can't say more than that, though, as I don't know any additional details on the matter; I disabled the rich text editor on my account shortly after it was released. ;D -- Heaven's Agent 00:32, September 15, 2010 (UTC)

Wookieepedia friend

I nominated the SWTOR wiki for official friend of Wookieepedia. The votes so far look good. :) Ausir(talk) 00:13, September 15, 2010 (UTC)

And a bureaucrat now. :) Ausir(talk) 22:24, September 19, 2010 (UTC)
There was one last year in February - But yeah, given the support so far I doubt there will be any votes against it. And looks like the pragmatic argument of having a place to direct users adding hit points and weapon damage stats to Wookieepedia (which is bound to happen) to won them over. :) Ausir(talk) 22:52, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

Hello, Question.

Hi Alexsau1991, I'm PitchBlack696, admin of Monster Hunter Wiki. I wanted to know if when this wiki started doing badges, if all your edits got restarted?? 150px (talk) 19:29, September 18, 2010 (UTC)

Oh okay thanks for clearing that up and so quickly! (I'm also waiting for TOR, planning to be Sith Inquisitor haha) 150px (talk) 06:00, September 19, 2010 (UTC)

Uploaded pictures

Don't worry, I do not upload anything that comes from leaking sources. All the pictures are from BioWare, some of them are screenshots from things in the videos they show but many don't see the details there (like the hoth hog in the music of the old republic video). The particular picture you asking about is from GamesCom (the German convention), it can be found on Darth Hater (who have much speculative things on their blog, but they also avoid leaked stuff). But I understand that you stay vigilant here and question my sources (I am really too lazy to write that). - Drudenfusz(talk) 04:52 (UTC), September 20, 2010

Gallery Format

Some time ago we discussed how best to approach the usage of image galleries in light of the changes Wikia was making to the plugin. Now that they have moved on to implementing a new skin, it appears they have finished work on galleries.

I took the time to play with the gallery tools in an attempt to find some finalized format we would be able to utilize. The result can be found on our article for Alderaan; let me know what you think. If the community approves we should be able to construct a template containing the parameters for galleries, thereby ensuring a similar appearance throughout the project. -- Heaven's Agent 03:26, October 23, 2010 (UTC)

Classes Dropdown

Sith Inquisitor is missing from the Classes Dropdown at the top of each of the pages. I tried to see if I could add it but it looks like its an admin privileged. Trevelyan(talk) 13:28 October 26 2010 (EST)

Yoda Image

Go ahead and delete it. I've thought of another image from the KOTOR era that would be a better fit anyway.--Skyrocket 22:27, November 2, 2010 (UTC)

Battle of Bothawui

I wanted to know if the single page for the Battle of Bothawui can be divided into two pages since there were two different battles for Bothawui during the war.

Revisiting Bothawui

I created the two pages for the battle of bothawui and I wanted to know if you could delete the old single page so it will just be the 2 seperate ones.

Thanks in advanceEwokJedi16 01:12, November 3, 2010 (UTC)

Fbook Page

Hi. How's it going?

Anywho, I just wanted to know if you were still thinking about making a facebook for the wiki. I don't wanna sound pushy, just curious. Thanks in advance. EwokJedi16 02:01, November 12, 2010 (UTC)

Gathering Page

I have put the Gathering page up for a motion to move it to Gathering Skills . The SWTOR website released information today that the skill is known as Gathering Skills. Can you move the content from the Gathering page over to Gathering Skills? I tried to do this but it would not go through properly. -- Trevelyan(talk) 00:18, November 13, 2010 (UTC)

The Force Unleashed Wiki

I just used Wookieepedia to make Wook on The Force Unleashed Wiki. I put a little note saying I got it from here, but I was just wondering if you were okay with it. Manga Maniac 00:49, November 16, 2010 (UTC)

Having Articles on Characters from Kotor 1 and 2 or Comics

Hi !!
I would just wanted to let you know that it is okay to have articles of characters in the Kotor comics or characters mentioned/vaguely appear in kotor 1 and 2 that didn't effect Revan and the Jedi Exile greatly [which the exile and revan effected SW:tor greatly.]

From MConnors

Sith Trooper

It was releashed on the official forums, but when I saved the images, I didn't save the link. But it was a picture made by Alessandro Baldas, as I can remeber. --Darth Stefan (Talk) 11:37, November 21, 2010 (UTC)

Tips for Editing

Thanks for the tips. I've been wondering how to do the wookieepedia thing, and now I know. Also the link inserting tip as made it so much easier than click the link button, etc, etc.

Re: Portals

Actually, if you hadn't brought it up I was planning to make this recommendation myself. We might also want to create a third portal, for KotOR2.

I wouldn't confine ourselves to mimicking the TOR portal; MMORPGs and RPGs are very different types of games, and we should allow the different portals to reflect this. Eventually I would like to see "subportals" for TOR as well, maybe one for guilds, one for blogs, game information, etc. -- Heaven's Agent 01:40, November 28, 2010 (UTC)

Also maybe one for spin-off media, like TOR books etc.? Ausir(talk) 17:24, November 29, 2010 (UTC)

I'd just like you to know I replaced the coding for the portals with a template, in order to make it easier to add newer portals and such. Manga Maniac 16:51, November 28, 2010 (UTC)

Also, I quickly designed a portal for guilds, in case you want to use it:
|height= |minwidth=9 |maxwidth=
|tab1=TOR Portal |link1= Star Wars: The Old Republic Wiki
|tab2=KotOR Portal |link2= Portal:KotOR
|tab3=KotOR II Portal |link3= Portal:KotOR II
|tab4=Guilds Portal |link=Portal:Guilds

<div style="text-align:center;"><br /><span style="font-size:150%">Welcome to TOR Wiki</span><br />A comprehensive The Old Republic database that anyone can edit.

NUMBEROFARTICLES articles since October 2008

|
|
|Galactic Republic
|Sith Empire
I'd show it to you in my namespace, but all portals muck up in the namespace because of the badges and stuff taking up space. Manga Maniac 17:12, November 28, 2010 (UTC)

Sure, it can be done. I can take care of it if you want me to. Ausir(talk) 17:23, November 29, 2010 (UTC)

So, yeah, what are the categorization for KotOR and KotOR II? Are we just keeping all KotOR and KotOR II related stuff in two categories, or are we going to have KotOR characters, KotOR II characters, KotOR II planets, etc. categories? Manga Maniac 20:43, November 29, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, and you might want to request Wikia makes "Portal:" a namespace. Be warned, IIRC you have to move all pages out of the Portal: namespace before Wikia creates it or all articles there will forever be lost, or something. Manga Maniac 21:16, November 29, 2010 (UTC)
Ah, so like this, then? Manga Maniac 21:53, November 29, 2010 (UTC)
Oh yes, and what do you think of the KotOR II portal? Manga Maniac 22:43, November 29, 2010 (UTC)
I have set up an actual Portal: namespace. Ausir(talk) 23:51, November 30, 2010 (UTC)
Maybe it would be a good idea to rename them to Portal:Knights of the Old Republic and Portal:Knights of the Old Republic II, to match the category structure? Ausir(talk) 00:47, December 1, 2010 (UTC)

My page has been hijacked

I am the leader of the SWTOR guild, Saints of the Old Republic, and I got an email today that Jedijbp has perverted our page and turned it into a bunch of anti-semantic trash.

Is there a way to keep people from editing your page?

Greetings. I'll let Alexsau address the majority of this question, but I wanted to chime in and say that I am sorry this happened, and that your timely response to the edit, and subsequent notification of the action, is appreciated. I don't believe there is much that can be done to avoid such edits, other than locking the page entirely, but in the meantime I have banned the vandal responsible. -- Heaven's Agent 22:55, January 17, 2011 (UTC)

Naming problem

Hi Alexsau, I've encountered a complication a few minutes ago. A new user has created a page that already exists, its just that the previous page has been named wrong. I hope I could of solved this problem but I don't know how. So I'd just tell you about this and see if you could find a solution.

Editing the Wiki

Ohh I am sorry. Didn't know it would have such a big impact. Thought I could just edit all the class pages and no problems would occur. So once more my apologies.

Roll back

Hi. I just wanted to know how the approve/deny process was going for my roll-back request.

P.S. Maybe you have to write Wikia a letter to get them to include non-US residents.

recent edits to the wiki

I am sorry for my recent editions to the wiki. I did not read on how to post proper information and that was a mistake on my part. While i am eager to win the Bioware competition i am also aware that what i am doing is not right. I will try to not remove information boxes like I did but it was all in good intentions. This will not happen again.

What's the deal with removing my edit? Everything I added is canon. Calithlin 10:55, February 19, 2011 (UTC)

Hi, I saw you working on these portals. I was think about about making such portals as the Dragon Age Wiki with the java script installed, as you can see on their mainpage. I already made an (bad) example here. What do yo think?--Darth Stefan (Talk) 14:20, February 20, 2011 (UTC)

Sliders and portals

It's not that hard. First, you should add this on the MediaWiki:Wikia.css page:

#portal_slider #portal_prev { right: 31px; -moz-border-radius-topleft: 8px; -moz-border-radius-bottomleft: 8px; -webkit-border-top-left-radius: 8px; -webkit-border-bottom-left-radius: 8px; border-top-left-radius: 8px; border-bottom-left-radius: 8px; }
#portal_slider > .portal_body { padding: 0; }

/* portal: content */
#portal_content { font-size: 0.9em; line-height: 1.7em; }
#portal_content .portal_body > table { height: 400px; }
#portal_content ul { list-style: disc outside; }
#portal_content ul ul { margin-left: 1em; }

Secondly, you should add the following codes to the MediaWiki:Common.js page:

/* sliders using jquery                 */
$(document).ready(function() {
  var $tabs = $("#portal_slider").tabs({ fx: {opacity:'toggle', duration:100} } );
  $("[class^=portal_sliderlink]").click(function() { // bind click event to link
    $tabs.tabs('select', this.className.replace("portal_sliderlink_", ""));
    return false;
  $('#portal_next').click(function() {
    $tabs.tabs('select', ($tabs.tabs('option', 'selected') == ($tabs.tabs('length'))-1) ? 0 : $tabs.tabs('option', 'selected') + 1 ); // switch to next tab
    return false;
  $('#portal_prev').click(function() { // bind click event to link
    $tabs.tabs('select', ($tabs.tabs('option', 'selected') == 0) ? ($tabs.tabs('length')-1) : $tabs.tabs('option', 'selected') - 1 ); // switch to previous tab
    return false;

Then the slider will work. Note: it could take a while when the codes are functioning. --Darth Stefan (Talk) 15:48, February 20, 2011 (UTC)

Just a tip, if you use ***s and ****s on MediaWiki:Wiki-navigation rather than *s and **s, you can have more than the usual four amount. You probably already know this, but it might be worth adding a "Guild" tab, a "Characters" tab, maybe a "Knights of the Old Republic" series tab. Whatever works. It just seems a little small right now, though it most likely wouldn't be worth expanding it beyond five tabs, otherwise it might get overcrowded. Manga (talkcontribs) 22:44, March 10, 2011 (UTC)

Offensve Edit

While doing some ability stuff with the trooper, i noticed that someone from the ip address of made a VERY offensive edit by changing Rifle Grenade to rape sex. I worked quickly to get the material off, but due to the fact that i didn't have rollback i couldn't put it back before it, becuase he made 2 edits. I ended up deleteing the offensive row in the ability table. If you could roll it back to the last good edit, it would be appreciated. I am also suggesting that you block the contributors ip address to prevent this same type of occurence from happening in the future. Thank you. Scimatt16 19:43, April 2, 2011 (UTC)

Skill Trees

Hello, Just wondering with the release of all the new info on advance class, where should the info on the shared tree go. The shared tree is avaible to both advanced class so i was thinking that i could be put on the Class page. For example the shared skill tree for the Sith warrior is Rage, so should the info on the rage tree go on the Sith warrior page? Let me know so i can continue to add the new info to the articles. Image categories

Hi, I was trying to find some images to use for KOTOR articles the other day and noticed that images aren't categorised currently. My question is: would it be a good idea to make some general categories for the images? I'm interested to work on that if it's desirable. (I know, stupid question, but I still ask first) (: -Tm_T (Talk) 11:03, April 11, 2011 (UTC)

In reverting the Sith Empire page you reverted all the other edits other than the few links that were added. There was an extensive amount of grammar and wording changes to the article. If you wold have simply removed the links there woudl have been no issue. I reverted your change and removed the links to wookiepedia.

Community menu

Hi, I noticed that the community menu on top, defined in MediaWiki:Wiki-navigation, has a link to which isn't there anymore. I believe it's now, maybe worth fixing. (: –Tm_T (Talk) 10:41, April 20, 2011 (UTC)

Hi, I noticed that the Template:Class is locked, so I would ask if I could have rights to edit it. I'm planning to cleanup the infobox templates in general over time, as they seem to be a bit mess now. (: –Tm_T (Talk) 10:49, April 22, 2011 (UTC)

Your Vandal

So it looks like he came here as well. He hit the Dragon Age wiki yesterday and hopefully with the global blocks, he won't come back, but we can't be certain of that. I'm not sure if you know what happened, but what he does is use Cyrillic characters to spoof my user name as the characters confuse Wikia's markup and make them appear normal. Needless to say this is a little frustrating, and I had hoped he had stopped, but alas not. I have come here a few times, as I'm looking forward to ToR myself, being the first MMO that I really plan to play so I hope that you undid all the damage and restored your wiki to its previous and unvandalized state. This was more of a response to your message on my talk page at the ME wiki, but I figured I should tell you what he was doing. I hope that there has been no long lasting repercussions between us as a result of this and I do hope that you will be able to be very busy when ToR releases. Lancer1289 14:02, April 25, 2011 (UTC)

CSS business again

Hi again. Firstly, this was already done few lines above. (:

Second, and more important one: what do you say if I go thru all infoboxes I find and change the stylings of them to be located on Common.css instead of the infobox templates? This way the styling is in one place and more uniform. I would give the css code to copypaste for you when it's all set? –Tm_T (Talk) 18:56, May 16, 2011 (UTC)

Class Template

Hello! I was thinking about an addition that could be made to the class template. There is text that is in aurebesh below each of the classes names on the current icons that we are using. I think that it would be cool if we transalated that and put it as a caption in the class template. However there is no caption space in the current infobox/template. Just a thought. The trooper's one translates to "freedom's shield". I wouldn't even attempt to do it cause i am horrible with infoboxes and templates. Scimatt16 13:07, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

Looks good-but would it be possible to add the translation beneath that? The translation for the Sith Inqusitor (incase you do not know) is Dark Council Aspirant. Scimatt16 10:12, May 30, 2011 (UTC)
Never Mind then. It looks good and I like it. Thanks Scimatt16 19:19, May 30, 2011 (UTC)

CelticThunders Picture

Thanks for moving our pic. I tried putting it there yesterday but it wasn't working because it didn't occur to me to type "file:" ...Iol. :)

Chiss Bounty Hunters

Hi, i edited the bounty hunter page to say Chiss could be that class because on the Chiss page it clearly says that they can be Bounty Hunters. If this is not correct then the Bounty Hunter part should be removed on the Chiss page.

Broke the Mirialan page

Hi i'm very sorry but i've accidently removed an importaint part on the Mirialan page and i dont know how to fix it. Sorry

edits to Nadia Grell

I noticed that you removed all the edits I recently made on this page. While some of the details were speculation, and I can understand the value of removing them, there were other points that were more concrete.

Were you just in a hurry? Or is there a higher standard of research required for info here? (I hope that doesn't come across as being snarky.)Mori Behn-Aiki 21:03, August 11, 2011 (UTC)

Not sure if this is the best approach for a conversation via wiki, but I just wanted to say thanks for that clarification. I'll re-gather the info that seemed reliable, and refrain from collecting or posting speculations. Thanks! Mori Behn-Aiki 21:14, August 12, 2011 (UTC)

<continuing from my talk page> Another point: On the "welcome" template, I noticed a link labelled "Reliable Sources." The SWTOR Strategies site listed there caught my eye. And on that site, there is a page highlighting "FULL SWTOR COMPANION LIST". And on that page is the same info that I had posted about the Consular companions. I know it's not anyone else's job to research the validity of the content I post, but I hope my mild frustration is understandable. Mori Behn-Aiki 22:30, August 15, 2011 (UTC)

SWTOR wiki=Wookiepedia

Hello, I am just wondering why you mentioned "Wookiepedia's policy" in TOR Wiki:Policy/Sourcing and added the category "Wookiepedia maintenance" to Pages needing citation. Last time I checked Wookiepedia and Swtor wiki are two distinct entities and therefore should not be sharing any policies. I am assuming that you took the sourcing policy from Wookiepedia and forgot to change some of the wording. Thanks Scimatt16 00:47, August 23, 2011 (UTC)

why did you delete alot of kotor 2 articles????!?

Links not displaying properly

Not sure if anyone is worried about this right now but I noticed, while trying to make a minor edit for grammar purposes, that links won't display somethin different than what the page they link to is actually called. For example I tried to change one that displayed as "Classes" to "Class" while still maintaining the proper link and it doesn't let you. This obviously isn't a huge issue, as it doesn't really detract from the available information on the page, but I just thought I'd mention it. Thanks. Vebnstuff 21:23, August 24, 2011 (UTC)

When I right click a link it brings up the following display box:Link Edit 1

From here I go into edit link and this is what I see:Link Edit 2

This is where it won't let me change the "Text to display" It allows me to change it in this box but when I click "OK" it just resets it to "Classes". I've worked with links like this on another wikia but have never run into this issue before. I'll try it the way you showed me and once again this isn't anything wiki breaking but I just thought I'd let someone with a little more experience at this than me know about it. Thanks for the help. Vebnstuff 22:48, August 24, 2011 (UTC)

It is still happening but I've found an easy work around. If I delete the old word and associated link and reinsert the desired word and associated link it works as like it is supposed to. I'm not sure why sometimes it makes me completely redo the link whereas other times I can just edit the existing one but it isn't difficult by any means so no harm done. Vebnstuff 14:38, September 2, 2011 (UTC)

How do I use / set up a redirect page?

Basically what the Subject says. I'm not figureing out how to set up a redirect page. I'm trying to get the page I just created "Mandalore the Vindicated" to redirect to Artus. Thanks for any help. Vebnstuff 18:02, August 31, 2011 (UTC)

Perfect. Thanks for the help. It is incredibly easy just as you said. Thanks again. Vebnstuff 14:39, September 2, 2011 (UTC)

Darth in name?

Are we inlcuding "darth" in the article names (like Darth Malgus as opposed to just Malgus?)? I thought i remember seeing a talk page about it but i can't remember....Scimatt16 01:43, September 15, 2011 (UTC)

Deleting Amara

I admit I hadn't considered the possibility that Amara was the name of the player character. I assumed that it would have said something more like "Level Up" if you did level up. Go ahead and delete Amara, I'll move the info to a new page called "Unidentified Jedi Knight Companion." Deal? ICE KREEM!!! 15:43, November 7, 2011 (UTC)

Jedi Code page deletion

I was about to create a page for Jedi Code, parallel to the current page about the Sith Code. The site pointed out that a page had existed and was deleted in 2009. The deletion was tagged with a change-comment from you about the code being irrelevant. Questions: The code seems a fairly significant bit of lore---was there more discussion to the issue? Is that still the policy? Should we remove the Sith Code page as well? Thx! Mori Behn-Aiki 22:24, September 26, 2011 (UTC)

Galactic Timeline

Heya. I noticed that the Timeline articles had all been started up with italics formatting on all the text. I started removing the italicization(?), then thought I'd better doublecheck. Is there a reason for the italics? Thanks. Mori Behn-Aiki 21:27, October 4, 2011 (UTC)

Heaven noted, "I'm thinking the text was italicized to indicate that it is taken directly from the source."
That was what I was wondering about the italics. However, I haven't seen / heard much of the text on the site, and what I have seen so far, I've changed to paraphrasing. Full steam ahead with removing italics, or does this merit more careful attention? (Actually I've already removed the italy-ance, but I can put it back if need be.) Mori Behn-Aiki 21:08, October 5, 2011 (UTC)

Hi Alex,

I see that you deleted an update to the 'Species' page which contained a table for playable race/class combinations. Admittedly, the table was clunky.

I have redone the table, and it is much cleaner and more presentable now. I believe that this table will be a great quick reference source for players as they decide what characters to create in the weeks and months before rollout.

Please feel free to improve the table in whatever way you think is best. If you believe that the table belongs elsewhere, I welcome any suggestion for an alternate location.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I am wondering, would this wiki mind sponcering my fanon wiki? Anakin Skyobiliviator (talk) 17:30, October 30, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Your leaving

I wish you the best as well. And hey, even if Wikia throws itself behind this project, maybe me moving to the Curse network could be a good thing. Should the game's wiki community get split between two projects, there's no reason any resulting rivalry couldn't be civil and respectful. Our goals would still remain the same regardless of where contributors individually edit, and working on separate projects won't lessen anyone's work in any way. In any case, that's something to consider further down the road. Take care, and I look forward to seeing you within the community. -- Heaven's Agent 20:55, October 30, 2011 (UTC)

It is special SW fanon wiki where a user pick between five sides and combined their fanon stories into one book-like story...the story timeline takes place in the Old republic era any era the users want to continue into. Anakin Skyobiliviator (talk) 22:59, October 30, 2011 (UTC)

Amara deletion

Combining the image database

Hello. I want to combine an image database of English and Russian SWTOR wikis. You will give your consent? I am creating a ru-SWTOR Wiki and in this case me it will be easier to designed. The combined databases exist, such as on the Fallout Wiki, Half Life Wiki, South Park Wiki and other. You only need to say yes or no. Thank you. --Kuzura@fandom;Talk 11:39, December 9, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks again. --Kuzura@fandom;Talk 12:57, December 9, 2011 (UTC)

May be. I apologize and ask to return all it back. --Kuzura@fandom;Talk 08:27, December 11, 2011 (UTC)

I received the following reply from the engineers: "I have investigated this issue. It appears that only two wikis can be linked in the current configuration of Wikia. Thus, when I added ru-SWTOR, it overrode the shared image database with StarWars. I have restored the original configuration." --Kuzura@fandom;Talk 15:32, December 11, 2011 (UTC)

Starter Guides

Hello Alexsau1991! My name is Bob and I'm a content editor at Wikia. I'm writing Starter Guides for those who are new to the game or new to MMOs in general, and was wondering if I could add a Starter Guide area on the nav bar. Let me know if you like this idea or not! Thanks! Also, my first Starter Guide (I would like to see one for every class if possible) can be found here, if you want to check it out. Thanks again! Soldierscuzzy 19:35, January 2, 2012 (UTC)

Page "Jedi Covenant Guilds" needs to be changed to "Server:Jedi Covenant"

Hey, it would be nice to unify codex creation for SWTOR, with locations. I'm not much for templates, so i did a messy job with Tauntauns but I want to be able to input locations for the various codex entries, especially lore, bestiary, locations. What's the best, standard way to do it? And yes, that data is mine, not borrowed, just got it today.

Republic Capitol Ship?

I added some information on the Republic Capitol Ship, but I would like to point out that when you mention [1] as the source for the redirection of the page (as explained on, is an uncorrected typo, as there are no mentions anywhere on about Capitol Ship(s), whereas Capital Ship is frequently used, and is accepted to be correct.

As such, I believe it would be advisable to remove the page Republic Capitol Ship altogether. Valura 11:27, January 6, 2012 (UTC)

Hopefully I'm not the first to report this, but someone, or a group of someones, is going through the entire wiki and re-formating it with questionable, or done right objectionable, material. This includes replacing pictures, descriptions, and even whole pages of contet, so that it can't be read or used at all. 10:51, January 24, 2012 (UTC)

Just leaving a message to inform you, that there is a vandalism attack going on at the moment. I tried to restore some pages, but as the attack seems to be not over, there is not much I could do. Just M. 12:07, January 24, 2012 (UTC)

I read the blog page only after I posted this comment. While I regret him leaving this wiki and thinking about switching to the curse wiki myself there is absolutely no need to vandalise this wiki and the work put into it. Just M. 13:17, January 24, 2012 (UTC)

MEWiki Debate

I'm contacting you here so as not to let Nick see this. I know you are not "the bad guy" and I'm not trying to make you out to be one. It is Nick who is cursing and losing his cool, you've remained relatively calm, and I thank you for it. If, however, I were to single Nick out and tell him to stop cursing and calm down for a while, how do you think that would go? He would respond as if everybody was being oh so terribly unfair to him and the conflict would intensify. I never specified who was the one at fault here, and for good reason. It is a very bad way to settle a conflict. My sincerest apologies if I angered you in any way, I'm just trying to get Nick, the aggressor in this situation, to back down and chill out before he escalates this thing and gets himself banned. Arbington 03:48, March 25, 2012 (UTC)

You haven't angered me at all, just slightly annoyed me. Though my last point I made was an attempt to do as Nick had asked, and address one of his points. I do see where your coming from however, and that either way the argument isn't going to be solved; I'm not going convince Nick, and Nick isn't going to convince me. It's probably best to do as you say and just agree to disagree. Which I'm more than willing to do. Alexsau1991 (talk page) 20px 03:54, March 25, 2012 (UTC)
Glad to hear you weren't angry, and I assure you it wasn't my intention to annoy you. It has been a while since I've mediated a conflict, which is something I was once well known for on MEWiki, so unfortunately I appear to be a smidge rusty. The skill will come back in time. At least, I hope it will. Without conflict mediation, all I would do for the wiki is grammar edits, and I would hardly call those a substantial contribution. Anyway, glad to see you've agreed to agree to disagree. Arbington 03:59, March 25, 2012 (UTC)

I'd like to post some site information through Facebook (and on Twitter) but I'd like to do it officially as TOR Wiki. Anyway you can enable me to do that? I'm trying to up the engagement with the Community-corner, forum and these social networks. Thanks. Larry Fuqua[talk] 23:29, February 1, 2013 (UTC)

Dosadnik 1 invited me to admin . I had found an earlier Facebook page,, but not sure who set it up, thought it might have been you.

Facebook pages don't have their own user accounts. Instead, typically a Facebook user starts the page and then via the admin console can manage admin roles for the page and invite other admins.

If you have access to this other Facebook page and want to try giving me access, you should be able to see me in the list of recent 'likes'. From there you can find my Facebook user profile to assist in sending me the invite. This other Facebook page appears to have collected a few invites during its prime, as opposed to the one Dosadnik 1 invited me to, and which I'm using now. So might be better to use this other one and revitalize it. Anyway, any assistance you can give would be appreciated. I've not realy done anything with the Facebook page I was invited to Admin, so no biggie for me to switch. Larry Fuqua[talk] 23:54, February 4, 2013 (UTC)

me adopting the wiki

Hai, Alexau1991, i'm going to try to adopt this wiki just wanted to let you know, can you get back to me on this, Thanks!

i have about 60 edits total i was enzo legend, and i asked helios if i could be qualified for admin, but he said he does not have the powers to do so, so i wanted to ask you if i could have admin since you kinda left the wiki and so did the rest of the bureaucrats and i had another account User:StarWarsProfile which i officiallly joined march, 2012 Kryyzton (talk) 16:16, May 11, 2013 (UTC)

Hello, this wiki is cleaning up rights, so since you are inactive, your rights will be removed, if you ever wish to join our community again, rights will be granted back. Drake (talk) 23:15, September 16, 2013 (UTC)

Hey, Alexsau, can you remove your bureaucrat rights, Dosadnik gave bureaucrat over to me because I'm the most active administrator, and me and the other admins (including dosadnik) decided we want to have less (Admins, Bureaucrats), and I see you are no longer active on this wiki. And I'll give the rights back if you ever wish to be active again :D, well, Thanks. Drake (talk) 12:27, September 17, 2013 (UTC)

Re: Admin status

Ugh, I don't care more about rights at all, I only care about the wikis welfare, in fact, I only wanted bureaucrat because Dosadnik 1 hasn't been active. And we agreed I am the most active administrator. And a lot has happened since last time I asked for adminship. For one: I actually am more experienced, I am always active on chat, I help any user that comes on chat, etc. The reason I don't edit pages much is because I haven't finished the game yet. For two: I have more than 250 main edits, on here and Kryyton, and I am gonna get a bunch more as I go along in the game. Also, how much quantity of edits do not matter, It's the quality that matters. I am a helpful person that helps the other admins and helps other users. You can ask Dosadnik and he will probably tell you the same thing, I know I might not edit the most pages, But I am the only one active that actually helps users and answers questions. ShatterClub, another semi-active admin like Dosadnik, he doesn't edit as much as me, no one on the administration besides Darth, which I just promoted to help me out, edits more than me. So please, don't call it disheartening for me to be a admin and/or bureaucrat, because to show that you're helping the wiki does not mean you have to edit twenty-four-seven. And about your bureaucrat status, I wish you'd edit more. Since you don't, I think you should remove your bureaucrat status. I will make you a regular admin instead. That's meeting the current administration half-way. I know you adopted this wiki, but you left it, for what reason? anyways, this is all I have to say, Thanks for listening to this. Drake (talk) 15:05, September 18, 2013 (UTC)

Hello, Alex. I'm gonna stand up for Drake here. He, along with me and Darth are the real only active admins left here and we were given this right from an agreement made with the two of us by Dosadnik 1. We have seen a lot of people come and go on the Wiki, and some of them really are great editors. Take Tennwerewolf, for example. He joined the Wiki after me, and for the longest time has only cared about giving quality edits to almost all of the pages that he's touched. And now he has more edits than me. I think that if anyone can hendle the buerucrat rights, it's Drake. We can find ways of rewarding people better for the work they put into the Wiki. I think he really is what he claimed to be in his last talk post on your page. While I've been semi-active only for school reasons, he's been here every day attempting to give quality info to viewers who would like a way to help them along in SWTOR. It's not disheartening, it's called evolution. And I though that you might know this by know.

I agree with what Drake said. Tkae youself down from buerucrat and go to admin. You can still do good there, but we need people who are more into SWTOR like Drake and myself.

Thank you very much for what you used to do for the Wiki, Alex. I'm sorry you needed to leave.

ShatterClub (talk) 00:46, September 20, 2013 (UTC)

It is disheartening because of the importance you place on being an admin, not because of your editing. When I adopted the wiki, I didn't ask for adminship, I was offered it. Right now there seems to be more admins than there are contributors, because of heedless and unnecessary promotions. I'm not suggesting that either of you should give up your admin rights. I'm just urging you to place less importance in them, a regular contributor can assist his/her fellow contributors just as much as an admin can.
As for the admin/bureaucrat thing, the only significant difference between the two is that the latter can not be removed by a fellow user, only by Wikia themselves. In all other factors the powers are identical, thus for a second urging, I would advise that Drake ditch his crass user template proclaiming him to be a bureaucrat, for the regular adminstrator one. With regards to giving up my bureaucrat rights, in exchange for admin rights, I am again going to have to turn you down. I may not edit here much anymore, but since I left new editors have requested admin and rollback rights from me that I have subsequently often granted. You say that you'll remain active now, but as with me things could change. A year down the line there may well be different editors in your current position, as there were last year and the year before.
Don't mistake me, I won't interfere in the way that you guys run this encyclopedia unless I return as a frequent editor, which would only happen if I get the time to re-subscribe to TOR again. Alexsau1991 25px-Goddammit.svg.png (talk page) 15:44, September 20, 2013 (UTC)

Okay, Alexsau, I know your feeling, so you know what? I won't bother you again with this. I will have a forum proposing the demotion of Drudenfusz and Valtier to regular admin, but not you. And we'll see what the rest of the community has to say, not just the admins, becuase we need to see what the bigger community has to say, and I'm only having them demoted for inactivity, nothing else, and after this is done, I will never have this problem again. for a wiki of this size, though, we should only have 2 bureaucrats anyways. Drake (talk) 20:19, September 20, 2013 (UTC)

That sounds reasonable. I hope I haven't offended you, I was feeling rather fractious when I wrote those responses... perhaps I could have been more conciliatory. Anyway, should you ever need any general administrative advice, or assistance then just drop me a line. Good luck with restoring the wiki to it's rightful glory! Alexsau1991 25px-Goddammit.svg.png (talk page) 16:22, September 21, 2013 (UTC)

No problem, Alexsau. and I'd be glad to have you back whenever you choose to come back. I am Drake Zypher on a new account, btw. and I hope I can do all I can to return this wiki to it's rightful glory, and I'll do eveerything in my power to get a bunch of editors, etc. You've been a big help to this wiki, and I'm grateful, you're the main reaon we're all here, and I just wanted you to know that :D Septin (talk) 17:27, September 21, 2013 (UTC)

Wiki Staff Changes

Hello, Alexsau. I'm messaging you because we are going through administrative changes here, and and I need to ask you to remove your bureaucrat status. Based upon a forum conversationheld on the Wiki last year, we, as the TOR Wiki community, determined that only one administrator with bureaucrat rights was necessary for community management.

We have not asked you to remove your rights yet, but as I'm currently the only active bureaucrat, and because you have not been active on this Wiki for almost a year and a half, I need you to remove both your admin and bureaucrat users. If you ever wish to return to actively contributing, then I would be happy to restore administrative powers again.

Assuming you don't remove them, I'll need to create a forum about this, and then the community can then decide again as to whether or not your rights should be removed...but I'm sure you see that you don't needs the rights due to your extended inactivity. Thank you for understanding. ShatterClub|talk|TOR Wiki Bureaucrat 00:46, January 13, 2015 (UTC)
